Stanbury was 2nd in cents per kg return, only 1 cent behind the winner and had apparently the best carcass conformation as well when rated hanging up in the chiller.


About the Breed

The Corriedale was simultaneously evolved in both Australia and New Zealand about 1874 by selectively breeding from cross bred progeny of pure Merino and Lincoln sheep.
